When I try connecting to a Vista system on my lan with rdesktop, I'm getting this failure. Autoselected keyboard map en-us. ERROR: recv:. Root@kali:~# rdesktop 10.0.1.73 Autoselected keyboard map en-us ERROR: CredSSP: Initialize failed, do you. Failed to connect, CredSSP required by server.

Hi, I found '/admin' is a possible workaround, but that does not work for non-admin users. Thanks |

I guess your host doesn't have a CAL and so you can connect only as an administrator ? |

I can connect fine with rdesktop or mstsc. |

@balonik running with env variable WLOG_LEVEL=TRACE would help as we don't have a server that has such behaviour. If you could also give a try with nightly builds. |

@balonik if you have recompiled it yourself, would you consider activating some debug statement like WITH_DEBUG_LICENSE ? |

Sorry, I forgot about it. I upgraded to Fedora 25 in the mean time and it is working fine. |
